Nakhon Phanom is one of important of I-San which it old name called "Sri Kotrabun Kingdom". Later, The King's Rama I extend the area to capital city of Laos "Vientiane". Which The King's Rama I changed the name from "Sri Kothabul Kingdom" to "Marukhanakhon". Nakhon Phanom is oldest provinces near the Mae Kong River and various of culture and Thai Arts.

PRATHAT PHANOM

Prathat Phanom is located 51 km. from City which the Prathat Phanom built around 535 B.C. The architecture of Prathat Phanom was built as Khmer style. Phathat Phnom has 53.60 meter high and 12.33 meter wide which the top is monument of 110 kg. of solid gold. The Prathat Phanom is main symbol of Nakhon Phanom.

PRATHAT RENU

Prathat Renu located at Ban Renu Nakhon which was established in 1981; copy model from Prathat Phanom. Prathat Renu is physical 35 metres high and 8.37 metres wide with 4 gates. The people enshrine the sacred sculptures and goden Buddha impage in pagoda.

PRATHAT SRIKHUN (NA KAE)

Prathat Srikhun is one of nice pagoda of spcial spirture of Prathat Srikhun.

PRATHAT THA UTHEN

Prathat Tha Uthen was builted around of Sri Kotrabun Kingdom by Pra Archan Sritad in 1912 to store a relic of the Loard Buddha.

WAT OKATSRIBUABUN

Wat Okatsribuabun is one of the important temple at Mae Kong River which the attraction place is Buddha image of Phra Teaw and Phra Tiam.

WAT SRITHEP PRADITTHARAM

Wat Srithep Pradittharam is a very beautiful vihan hall which it is delightful murals on the wall. The most famous is the Buddha image of Pra Sang which phycial is same time of the Buddha images of Pra Sukk and Pra Sai (Wat Phochi-Nongkai).

PRA BANG & WAT TRIPHUM

Pra Bang is the enshined image Buddha of physical 80 inches high and stands on octagonal plinth.
